    I call bull**** on that rule. Dan Severn used superior reach knowledge to win that fight.

    I watched UFC 9 live with my school. There were plenty of punches thrown in that card but I wouldn't be surprised if there was some weird attempt at self-regulation. This was not long before the UFCs became next to impossible to find. It was also a shitty card because of that Shamrock and Severn fight. The only saving grace was watching Don Frye pound on Amaury Bitetti for fifteen minutes.

    Yeah you got a point. I was always puzzled by the relative lack of punching in the main event to. But tbh it's not an event Ive watched twice
