The same HBO team which had Kovalev ahead by all 8 rounds by round 8?

That fight had some of the worst commentary I've ever seen.

The only guy who was seeing the same thing I was seeing was Roy Jones...the only one who's actually boxed.

can't comment on the hbo commentary, if anything sky sports was slightly biased for ward, but not a huge amount imo.

ledderman consistently produces poor cards and opinions, without knowing the specifics i'd put his part in it down to him just sucking at his job these days.

 

The Ref of the fight, Robert Byrd, just got done saying he felt Kovalev won. Now that's about as close to the action as you can get. Ward fanbois... Just stop! Just stop and admit who the REAL victor is. Surrender. Just GO WITH IT!!! Let it happen.

 

The real victor was Ward. Just in case you weren't aware of the result.

 

Just in case you weren't aware of the MAJORITY of peoples opinion... Sergey should have gotten the nod. And since that's how the vast majority think, that's how history will remember this fight.

 

Round 10 should have gone to Kovalev, but it all depends on what the judges see.

Still, Kovalev didnt do enough to win the fight.

Infact I think the early KD was a blessing for Ward who boxed much smarter after that and maybe a curse for Kovalev who seemed to lose heart when he saw Ward get back up and absolutely take the right to him in the third round.

The third round broke Kovalevs heart.

 

The majority of the people also believe Pacqiauo won the Mayweather fight? A large number of people still attest to that.

Kovalev lost, his post fight ramblings , his sense of urgency in the last couple of rounds and his non reaction when the result was announced confirm he knew he'd lost.

But he took a page out of the Pacqiauo book and claimed he believed he won the fight.

Roy Jones commentated for HBO and his words pretty much echoed everything that was happening in the ring.

The only people picking Kovalev are those who dont know **** about boxing.

Following your opponent round the ring while unable to cut him off is not going to win you rounds.

Not a good comparison at all. At least Ward and Kovalev made a bit of an effort.

 

Like hell they did, Kovelav won that fight clearly and was robbed most boxing fans besides Ward fanboys like yourself know it, 90% of boxing writers know it, the majority of other boxers know it, the referee knows it and even the pro Ward crowd knew it, they booed the decision ffs.

And don't give me that end of fight body language ****, Ward's battered face looked as surprised as anyone when he was announced the winner.

I used to go to the fights all the time then watch the video'd fight the next day on TV. You get a totally different perspective.
