I wouldnt mind seeing Pollack or Klompton do a book on wyatt earp. Would change a few hollywood stories, i am guessing.
I never bought Fitz listed reach. He and Sharkey had a similar listed reach, yet Bob's Shoulders are wider and his arms appear much longer. Food for thought. Did Earp who collected something like 100 pounds worth of guns before the match started have bet on the match? We'll never know if the punch was low. I tend to doubt it. Fitz wasn't in danger here and wasn't a low blow type.
I hate to destroy the legend, but Erap was basically an opportunist. In those days the biggest thugs tried for the sheriff’s office, and if they didn’t get it, their plan B was protection rackets. Law makers and gangsters were two sides of the same coin. It basically turned on who hired the best thug!
