I know all you little haters are gonna cry about Floyd ducking and being scared, but this rumor helps "the fight". It really truly speaks to the fact that NEITHER Floyd nor Pac have any options left. Cotto / Canelo is probably already a done deal, so a rumored fight with Cotto gives Floyd zero leverage in negotiations. Pac is talking Vargas ffs. Barring JMM suddenly changing his mind, Vargas is the best Pac can do.
Cotto-Canelo is not a done deal. Vargas is not the best Pac can do. However, I do think the Mayweather-Cotto rumours are bogus. So too is any notion that Mayweather will fight Pacquiao. Floyd might not even fight in the first half of next year.
