Exactly. The thing is every fighter will have their doubters no matter what. I try to ignore those clowns and keep rooting for the fighter(s) I'm a fan to.

I'm still a little critical of his resume at 140 but at least he brought in some good action such as in the Corley & N'Dou fights. He shouldn't have token the JMM fight but I still give his some credit for beating Mosley. If he had the same mindset he had in his younger days....that would be great.

Floyd Mayweather Jr is a HOF hell be high on alltime list whenhe retires. Retired Genero hernandez knocked out undefeated Diego Corrales Castilo twice Castilo hadnt been beat in 4 years i can go on even Jesus Chavez people look at him in morales fight doesnt do him justice at all he had a bad injury in that fight and could not throw his right hand. Floyd called out kosta tzyu at 140 in 2005 but then kosta was retired by Ricky Hatton then floyd took hattons heart in 08 lol hattons whole family was watching too. The de la hoya fight before Floyd was really a natural 140 pounder at that point and he jumped up to 154 oscar picked judges he was said to weigh over 160 in that fight and freddy roach said oscar used illegal handwraps for that fight too Floyd put on masterful performance even the judah fight was megafight Mosely was coming off destroying marg and was ducked by pacquiao Floyd whipped him. Floyds career has been amazing indeed.

Floyd is a great boxer but does not have the offensive risk taking needed to beat the prime top tier fighters and his defense for how cautious he is still has it's flaws. It is what it is. By picking his opponents he can control how he is perceived in boxing but when he is forced to fight or if he was forced to fight the upper echelon there is no doubt he would have revert to a different style which does not seem to produce the best outcome for him.
Perfect example is this fight (Castillo 1) He was unable to turn the tide when the momentum went the other way and lost nearly all the championship rounds. He gets hit with way too many shots while dishing out too few. He clearly lost this fight by 4 points and any impartial person would agree.

Although I admit youre really getting better as a poster you still don't understand that Floyd was injured in the fight while being outweighed by 10 pounds if not more all the while being the first time at that weight and suffering a headbutt which always gets in the heads of fighters. Knowing that this was a shitty performance not living up to his standards he immediately rematched Castillo and proved he was the better fighter. It wasn't like an instance where Manny waited years to rematch JMM(yeah I had to drop his name,**** off lol). :rasta

Every boxer has a rough night i think its silly to assume because it happend to Floyd once hes forever flawed he was young went into a fight with an injury and it was a learning experience for him and i beleive it made him a better fighter.

People already hate floyd and they are just looking for anything to justify that hatred. Floyd is one of the best to step foot in the ring and haters gonna hate.

He sure did we all know that Sosa and N'dou are two hall of famers and who can forget his two eliminator fights against living legends Corley and Brusseles just to get a shot at all time great Gatti and if all this wasnt enough he then moved up to fight Sharmba Mitchell who was probably the best welterweight since Ray Robinson.

Hell of a run there, the kind of stuff legends are made of.
