You present your opinions as statements of fact. Then when challenged on the only tangible statement you make you claim the results would be faulty, thus leaving no avenue to invalidate anything you say.

    Deeeeerrrr

Pacquiao's fights were boring, compared to what? Mayweather? Lets count how many exciting fights he's been in - don't worry, you only need to use one hand.. Cotto was probably the most entertaining fight he's been in since castillo, and that's purely because of Cotto. If Cotto didn't press forward, there would be no fight.

FOTY candidateS? Which ones, you mean Cotto? Ok that's one, where's the others.

Your the one who sounds bitter here bro. No ones talking about Pacquaio and here you are writing a bunch of bull**** on him. When and how long is Mayweather going to continue dominating the sport? He's coming into his late thirties bro, you'll be lucky if you see him fight again. PAcquiao's legacy was sealed a long time ago, forget casuals, talk to real boxing fans and ask them who the greater fighter is.

Ur right nobody cares about Pac Floyd , it's been dead for a while now. Floyd got what he wanted , he managed to hang around a division for years and duck another another guy he should have fought. When his career is over, that's what he's going to be remembered for , by causal or hardcore fans.

    1. Seems he likes to pass alot of ad hominems and strawmen as fact, then when confronted insult the opposing parties age and or intelligence while at the same time stating the opposing party misunderstood his argument.

    Damn, U Mad

Mayweather is already considered number 1 p4p by most outlets.

Pacquiao if he keeps fighting will lose badly. Thus tarnishing some of his legacy because he avcumulated alot of early losses and bad performances and was never able to decisevly defeat his main rival.

Mayweather on the other hand arguably can fight fir another 3-5 years and accumulate alot more accolades.

Who cares? He's been both good and bad for the sport. At the end of the day he stands neutral. I'm fine with Floyd and Pac vanishing from the sport at this very moment. Both made enough money and have already established a solid legacy. I'm completely fine with watching the Wards, Donaires, Laras, Martinezes, Gamboas, etc. In fact I prefer it. Only thing I'm concerned about is Arum.

Actually idiot, if you think I am stating my opinion as fact, that's all on you bud. It's just as I've said many a times, idiots like you take post and interject any meaning you want. I doubt you're smart enough to understand that.

I call em like I see them. Like you for instance, bubblebutt? That's what children say. You're nothing but a cheerleader for floyd, and for his fanboys. You're akin to the high school ***** who ****s all the popular jocks to stay popular.

I never even said nobody cares about Pac vs Floyd. You just exposed urself as being the one who doesnt care about Pac vs Floyd anymore. The rest of us still wanna see Pac get his ass kicked. And the funniest part about that is even you, one of the biggest pacturds of all know Pac will get his ass handed to him, outclassed and embarassed if he ever steps in the ring with Floyd. Have fun watching Pac vs Marquez 4 and 5 and Pac vs Bradley 2 and 3 bruh :rofl:rofl:rofl

    Couple of problems here:

    1) The notion that promoters have just now 'discovered' that 'The 0 sells; big time' is simply not backed up by boxing history. Undefeated fighters have always enjoyed some marketing advantages. See Marciano, Rocky for reference.

    2) You continue to claim that casual fans can't enjoy Mayweather's 'style'. IMO, you really don't have any evidence to base this on.

The PPV #s don't support your position. Your argument is the equivalent of saying that casual movie goers don't want to see mindless superhero movies in a summer where 'The Avengers' and 'Spiderman' (and soon 'Dark Knight Rises') are dominating at the box office.

As a matter of fact, one could argue that casual fans have shown over and over again that they are just as likely to accept, support and/or idolize a boxer or boxer/puncher (Ali, SRL, ODLH) as they are a slugger (Tyson, Pacquiao).
