I used to hear Mayweather talking about how he's always in a lose lose situation, and just took it as him running his mouth who would thought they guy everybody thinks is a fool is right.

Mayweather says Mosley is not a paperview attraction

mosley v Mayweather set to only do 1.1 to 1.2

Mayweather says if he beats Mosely everybody would say he's old and he was supposed.

Mayeather dominates mosley 100 threads pop up on ESB on Mosley being old.

Floyd Haters swore he was hiding a soft chin behind his defense

He gets hit Flush 3 times holds on and continues the fight stronger, Floyd haters say if that was Pac he would of finished him and Mosley let him off the hook. O yea my fav, this fight was fixed lol.

Floyd Haters say he scared that's why he runs around and that he's not exciting he relies to much on his back foot. " I only hate Floyd cause he's a ***** who runs"

Floyd stand toe to toe with Mosley, Floyd haters say the fight was boring and Freddie roach says " Floyd lost his legs it's gone that's why he was flat footed.

At the end of the day maybee Floyd is smarter than u are when it comes to boxing.

Ima gonna repost this in a couple diffrent heading so don't bother checking out any post that says anything about Floyd being smart.

Just think about if for a second.

Sad but true many greats are hated for many reasons. Sadly Floyd is a great fighter and very domionant and has no guy to test him and bring out his best. I mean look at Wlad dominant hell of a punch nice guy but he has nobody to KO that he will get any credit for

Maybe you can also narrate why people hate on Pacquiao.

    I'll give one.

    - Pac brutally dominating and knocking out boxers some much bigger than him. He's on PEDs for sure. ;)

Every fighter has haters, boo ****ing hoo.

There are a constant flood of like 40 guys who are on this forum daily waiting to ride mayweather's nuts the second they get the chance.

Who is acting like this guy isn't deified by a **** ton of boxing fans?

Some of the kids on this site actually think he is the GOAT.

    Cry a goddamned river.

Very true, it doesn't matter what he does. You can't please everyone, so if I'm in his situation I'd probably think like he does...please myself and my family. Haters are like roaches and there will always be that next guy who people think you're dodging.

all he had to do was not 'retire' and clean out the WW division when it was really strong

it's 'stale' now, which is why people are like meh

There is much truth in the OP.

That's one thing. Arguing just to argue is another.

Its true - HOWEVER - Floyd brings it all on himself.

He's a master manipulator of the classic "heel" role from WWE. This moreso than an Ali type take on it as Hatton pointed out during their press run - Floyd does it without the twinlke in the eye that Ali had when he was putting verbal beat downs on other fighters.

But to continue the Ali comparison, there are still many old fight fans I have spoken too who dislike Ali, some who still call him Clay, becuase they hate braggards.

That said - When Ali lost for the first time against Frazier - You will hear this in plenty of Ali docos - Many say that he also "won" because he lost with dignity and honour and came back to prove the world wrong.

Floyd has made a tonne of money and done a great job at taking his, for the most part, safety first style and sold PPV #'s like he was knocking every motherf#$ker out.

The "lose loose" situation happens because of this marketing strategy.

    You can't have it all.

Look at Mosley! A nice guy, never quite captured the imagination of the public though and nowhere near Floyd in terms of PPV dollars - And yet even with the steroid controversy and other issues, he still has a pretty deep and faithful fanbase - Just read the threads around here!

I think if Floyd had a Pac or Mosley type persona, his legacy would be rated higher than it is right now, because people respond to humble and root for the good guy.

If Floyd didn't carry on like a **** wit, people would think that his personality matches his boxing style... boring.

Lose Lose is Mayweather NOT KO-ing Marquez.
Nothing to do with fighting a 38 year old who wasn't allowed his normal regiment.
