The formula to get the Mayweather fight is pretty simple

Look really good in the fight before you call him out. Look at all of his last opponents. Shane raped Margo. Victor looked like an animal against Berto. Cotto redeemed himself against Margo. You have to bring something to the table to help Floyd sell the fight, otherwise you won't get it. It's that simple.

That was before Floyd became famous and had the ability to command mega paydays. Times change

It was also actually the best fight to be made at that time. The streets wanted the Mayweather-Judah fight

Mad about what? I'm just pointing out a flaw in the OP's statement. Let's not twist history. It's not like Floyd has always took on all comers. It's only of late. Had Floyd fought the best of this era at the most opportune times, he would probably be a top 15 ATG, having beaten the likes of Marg, Mosley, Pac, Cotto, etc at their best. But he didn't.

Berto(e) was the one who was originally supposed to fight Floyd not Ortiz. This changed when the PED Killer whooped his AZZ

Beating Margarito would have done nothing for Floyd's legacy, it's not like he will be an atg or hof'er, Floyd chased fights with Cotto and Shane around their "primes", neither wanted any parts of him at those times...

Even so Floyd eventually fought and beat both and Money is no spring chicken, do us all a favor and stop the hate...

That fight was signed before Judah fought Baldomir. They actually thought Judah would beat Baldomir easily...just didn't happen that way. After the fight, Floyd still honored the agreement to fight Judah. Oh yeah....FACTS MATTER!!!!

That's why SSM needs to do something disrespectful. . . :patsch
How many times did Pac looked good in the last couple of years? :think

    Pacquioa - ODLH

    Pacquioa - Hatton

    Pacquioa - Cotto

And now that Pac did not looked that good anymore against JMM and Bradley, I can sense that the negotiation will probably go on now.. :deal

Margarito destroyed Cotto, and where did Mayweather go? :think

Martinez knocked Williams out, and where did Mayweather go? :think

Same Place Pacquiao went....add fights versus Clottey and Mosley. Just sayin'.
