Apologies if you've alreay had him on, but James Toney would be superb.

I've also heard Ken Buchanan interviewed a few times on radio and he was very entertaining. Get him talking about Duran and you're guaranteed a laugh!!

It'd be great if you could get 2 guys on at the same time for a good argument (perhaps RJJ and Hopkins), but I appreciate it's difficult to keep the interview under control in those circumstances.

 

Maybe you should go for some top fighters from the '70s era. Can you get Ron Lyle, Joe Bugner or Earnie Shavers on the show? The older fans could appreciate that.

I'm also thinking it would be great for you to get some of the top lightheavyweights from the very competitive late '70s - early '80s period. The names here are Saad Muhammad, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, Marvin Johnson, Dwight Qawi, Mike Spinks, Yaqui Lopez, Mike Rossman, Jerry Martin, James Scott, Murray Sutherland, and others.

Tony Grano: probably eminently gettable (he posts his own facebook status updates...); will likely be able to speak chowderhead as NE resident and thus can communicate effectively with Jenna and Nick; just starched GW-hypejob Travis Kauffman.

Paul Williams: frequently referred to as among "the most avoided men in the sport" if not the #1; will be able to supply a counter-point as we've already heard the Pavlik camp's perspective on the fight with Loew; the man just doesn't interview a heck of alot, maybe partially because of that atrocious drawl, but it'd be great to hear a little bit more of what makes him tick.

Thomas Hearns: again, counter-point as we've already heard from not only his two chief rivals but also his Legendary Trainer; we can get his thoughts on the exhibition match with McClellan and his take on the Benn fight as a stablemate; and for no other reason than he's the Hitman and a damn ATG and it's not like he's busy fighting anymore and can't do an interview...you know, as of his ultimate retirement a month or two ago...
