Chris Shanks looks at the four things a fighter needs to progress from domestic level to larger shows on an international stage for BritMMA!

One of the four:

A Good Camp
Right down to the bare bones of it. You need to find yourself a good training camp; one that has a good team of coaches and a good track record. They might be the nicest guys in the world, but if they can't help you get wins then what is the point in fighting? In saying that, your club needs to be somewhere that you feel 100% comfortable with both the coaches and the other fighters you train with. It is important that all egos all left at the door. A good club is a place where you feel constantly pushed to learn new moves or techniques and put your all into every training session. Ultimately this will better your game.
