    Harrison, Sprott, Skelton and Willams

These four gave us some of the best fights of the last decade, from Audley's historic one punch KO of Sprott in the final minutes of their memorable rematch, to the Williams-Sprott back and forth wars and so on.

What are some of your memories of these great series? :think

  2. I just read Four Kings again this week.

    Different fighters, though.

Used to always enjoy the fights with those 4 involved.

I think Danny Williams was the best of the four but its hard to call.

If you had to rank them in their primes how would you rank them?

    1. Williams
    2. Skelton
    3. Harrison
    4. Sprott

How could anyone forget the memorable war that was Harrison vs Williams 1!

That'll be shown for years to come.....

I always looked forward to those fights but to be honest they weren't that good to watch and the fact that they kept fighting each other demonstrated just how poor our heavyweight division was back then. It's not much better now to be honest...

I much prefer the titans of the golden era that were Oyebola, Francis, Murray and Welch.

5 of the top 25 heavyweights on boxrec are British?

Can't ask for much more than that.

The heavyweight scene in general is poor these days, how many of these 5 are truly world class? One?

Met Welch a few times through work with his old folks home business, a complete arsehole who said he would ve dominated Tyson and Holyfield and Lewis, reckons he had an off day against Akinwande! :patsch
