    Both fighters are passed their prime(Morales more so) but Morales is younger so he does have "a chance".

    Despite Eriks rather....unfavourable odds. I'm backing him all the same. It is a sham of a fight, perhaps the worst in recent memory :think but that makes our support of Erik even more ardent.

    This is a pretty disgusting fight for what it does for Marquez...a win over Morales in his boxing record is undeserved.

    At least in Khan/Barrera you could use the excuse that Khan needed a comeback win, here Marquez is already on top of the lightweight division, why try to expose one of greatest Mexican boxers of all time?

    I'm a Marco Antonio Barrera nut, but I have the utmost respect for Erik. I hope he beats the ever-loving **** out of Marquez, and establishes himself as the greatest Mexican fighter since the great Julio Cesar Chavez.

    I'm a Barrera man myself, the only time I wouldn't support Morales would be against Marco. I wouldn't be upset whoever won it though.

    I also share the last statement even if I kind of do like Juan. He picked an easy fight. I hope it bites him in the arse.
