The Fres Oquendo-Shannon Briggs Prediction Poll

Shannon Briggs has been resurrected like the Phoenix. He will become champion again and get a big payday fight with Joshua hopefully.
I would have said Wilder but he did some sucker stuff a year or so ago on SiriusXM radio to Briggs that was uncalled for.
As unknown as Wilder is he acts like he is as popular as Floyd Mayweather ,when in reality he is a nobody outside of Birmingham,AL.

 

As old as Briggs is I still think he can beat The very average Fres Oquendo, and by KO too.

 

Either Briggs early rounds KO or Oquendo UD..

Can't see Briggs being dangerous for more than a couple of rounds then he will look a bit like the Vitali version taking punches to the head for the rest of the fight..

 

I predict a sad distraction from an otherwise revitalised HW division. These guys are relative dinosaurs.

 

Just think of it as the Veterans World Championship...

 

If Oquendo gets out of the first 2 rounds he's pretty much won the fight.

 

I favor Briggs because he's been more active

Oquendo Win UD or late KO

 

If Oquendo of the Chagaev fight or anything near that form shows up then he wins a decision... In his prime Oquendo was pretty underrated, got wronged by the judges a lot and usually gave a good fight even in defeat. H2h a much better fighter than Briggs was. But like many here I have a soft spot due to Briggs' act, hope he can pull it off.

 

Oquendo by decision in a dire fight.

 

They are both over the hill, but I expect Briggs to knock Oquendo out, Oquendo was never a good fighter in his prime, much less now................

 

It's kinda hard to call. I'll go with Briggs for now
