Right now, you can pull the DNA out of a human egg and insert your own. In fact, you can have several fathers and even more than one mother.

Furthermore, you can insert non-human DNA from animals and acquire new characteristics. So the future champion won't be 100% naturally evolved human. When it hits that point, it's less about sport and more about who has the better scientific team.

 

I don't see what so funny about that. None of the HWs today have a patch on Holmes in terms of skills and abilities. Muhammad Ali weighed 206 pounds when he knocked out Sonny Liston, how many HWs around today would you pick to beat that version of Ali? Boxing is a sport of skill, it isn't a bodybuilding or powerlifting competition.

 

The idea of 'Transhumans' with animal DNA is chilling and should frighten us all.

If it happens expect "the end" to follow. It will get in the human lineage.

Pat of that environment is in a way the space that can given over to the human heart itself. A bigger body demand bigger O2 needs. You might suggest makingthe heart bigger, but increasing heart size doesn't meet this need, nor does beating increasingly faster or harder, it reduces it due to reduced filling times in the atria. A bigger body would simply be a bigger drag to a human being, resulting in a giant who simply gasses out far too quick.

 

it will likely ruin humans. its taken millions fo years to get us to this, and we are fcuked physically in so many ways in spite of it.
