Me personaly I think Micheal Ortiz did a good job by stopping the fight. 14 sec. is not alot of time but it could have been enough time to land one fatal blow. what do you guys think

There's no question at all if it was premature or not. Taylor was out of it, it went on perhaps a few seconds too long if anything.

If it wasn't stopped, Froch would have knocked Taylor's head off when he slumped over.

Taylor was looking to the ground. No way he can survived.

Did Taylor do a post fight interview?

Did the stoppage look like the one in the 1st Pavlik fight?

He was out on his feet nearly the whole round. The ref was giving him the benefit of the doubt throughout the round cuz he was clinching and holding on just enough. But the last minute he had no energy to clinch and was done.

Chavez/Taylor should of been stopped, you have to answer the ref when he talks to you and Taylor is one of my all time favourite fighters (he was awesome)

And the Taylor Froch fight should not even be mentioned when talking about bad stoppages, it was the stupid interviewer that started going on about it!

The ref gave Taylor ample opportunity to show he could survive, and handled the situation fine. No problem whatsoever with the stoppage.
