Great fight, I had Kessler winning by 2/3 rounds max. Did anyone hear the interviews what did Froch say?

 

That cut Kessler has is absolutely ridiculous.

Great fight, right man won. Froch didn't lose any respect losing but he was beaten by the better fighter in Kessler.

 

It was a total joke, as soon as the D was announced, he started talking about how Froch wasn't on form and how his right hand was defunct, and then he made up this story about how he saw Froch a few weeks ago and he couldn't throw the right hand, and the Richie Woodhall intervened and said, "Actually Steve I was in camp with him and his hand was fine throughout sparring" and then of course Buncey started going on about how he must have injured it in the first two rounds etc. Just a bit classless really.

Froch was pretty classy though, I'll be cheering for him to get through AA.

Thought actually Froch looked the better fighter sat but just back a little in the first half. Shame its not 15 rounds anymore....Frochy would have won then

I had it 116-112 and that is being generous to Froch. I watched some Romanian stream, so no commentary for me, don't know what you watched, as for me it seems that Kessler clearly nicked it.

No, buy far not a domination 117-111 (or even 116-112) would suggest it, but how can you give Froch any of the first few rounds (excluding the 5th)? In the contest of imitating Arthur Abraham maybe, he was inactive enough.

Forch could have won the fight, something was wrong with the guy. He looked too lethargic and too passive. Is he injured or something similar? Any time he connected, he had Kessler in trouble... only he didn't connect nearly enough to win 6 rounds.

Kessler is done IMO... a world class fighter still, but by far not a world beater he used to be. It's sad, but that's how it is...

Froch wasn't inactive in the early rounds; he was boxing smartly and sticking behind the jab and being successful. He showed some good skills in there.

 

Yes, the better man won, but damn does Froch have a good chin!

 

That was ...extraordinary , that was.. Best fight that I've seen this year..
Great fighter..Kessler, he showed a lot of heart..freshly back in bussiness now (even if he has never been out of it..) while Froch is just freshly defetead.
Both deserve appreciation.. they offered us a night worthy to be remembered..
