Great fight, good performance by Kessler (but not 117-111 in my opinion). I'm glad that British jerk lost.

    how? :huh

we just saw a FOTY candidate and Kessler edged it by a round or two

if boxing had more nights like this MMA would be just an after thought

It was closer than the scorecards suggest. I had it a draw - what a fight though!! Both guys deserved victory.

Still proud to be a Froch fan. Bring on Arbraham!!

    Froch in the post-fight interview:

I definitely beat Kessler. If the fight had taken place in England, I would have been given the decision. The big cut above Kessler's eye was due to a clash of heads in the 10th.

I really wanted Froch to win but even I had Kessler winning the fight by two rounds. It was a great fight to watch and what a last round. Great credit to both fighters and you never know we may get to see again at a later stage in the Super Six tournament.

is that what the British commentators were claiming? I was not able to follow them, unfortunately - they are alway so patriotic, even more than the Americans, that it is really fun to listen to them!

Not really, he was not countering enough, not getting too many jabs off the back foot, and eating too many jabs and body shots himself. I had a feeling that might have an injury or smth similar to be honest. The early rounds were by no means routs, but it's difficult to give them to Froch, even with the champion credit.

On betfair during the match Kessler became a pretty huge favorite during the match, so no doubt the majority of betting viewers would agree that it was a correct decision. Personaly I would also agree, even though it was a pretty close match.

great fight, foty till now. big credit to both fighters, big heart and big chin. froch has more power, but kessler did more. it was close but i had it 115-113 for kessler, but if this would have been a draw it would have been okay too, everytime when one of them was hurt he attacked, it was great. but sorry guys i can't see froch winning against abraham, it will be a ko victory for abraham. kessler has good power, froch has great power and abraham has lights out power. if frochs defense will be his chin again against abraham i can then only see a ko victory for abraham in the first rounds. the tillman judge should be banned. the other thing is that this fight took probably something out of both, so many flush shots, that is not good. after a war like that the fighters normally getting worse

Watch the replay. If you still think it was a KD you should stop sniffing glue.

I scored this fight a draw.

Decision could have gone either way really.

Having Roger Tillman as one of the judges really taints the verdict for me. Sauerland is quite the swine that way.
