It is collectively agreed upon that Margarito was using loaded gloves.
With this in mind we look at Kermit Cintron's track record.
    33-4-1
2 of those loses came to Margarito (questionable)
1 of those to Williams. Should have been a NC.
The tie should have been a loss. (to Martinez)
and then Molina who won (and then got shafted on his next fight and is the one who should really be fighting Alvarez.

    His record could read 35-2.
As someone stated in the Alvarez/Cintron thread. You just don't know which version of him will show up.

BUT as a what if scenario -
IF he beat Alvarez (which gives him a title) AND then Margarito beat Cotto (giving him a title) the 2 re-matched for a third time in a unification match...

That would be a twist in boxing.

I agree the losses to Margarito are questionable. I never considered Margarito a skilled fighter and was confused by the success that he had with Cintron. That said, Cintron has shown many signs he is a head case and as you stated inconsistant. Alvarez has shown to be very steady and mentally strong and that quality is why I pick him to pull through in this fight.
