The stupidest comment I ever heard in boxing was when a jackass boxing "journalist" asked shot Ken Norton who hit harder,Foreman or Cooney just after Gerry ko'd Ken.Even though Ken had just lost to Gerry,He replied with one of the all-time great boxing comments ever:"I don't know.I forgot to bring my gauge."Not only did Ken give an intelligent response just at a traumatic moment,he shot down a stupid question from someone who should have known better.

 

I have a new one.Someone put a post today that states that Muhammed Ali would have had a problem fighting David Haye and one of the reasons is that Muhammed always dealt with boring personalities as his opponents instead of dealing with trash talking Haye,who might have distracted Muhammed,according to the post.That's pretty damn funny.No.Actually,on second thought,it's true.What's Muhammed now?68 years old or so?Yes,Muhammed would have a problem with Haye now.

 

On a Kostya Tszyu highlight video someone posted that Tyson would KO Tszyu, so I replied telling him what an moron he was, and he deleted his comment.

 

After Mayweather beat Baldomir I had some friends say "That the fight was rigged and Baldomir was paid to lose,it didnt look like Floyd hit him that hard"

When people swear up and down that Margarito cheated ONLY with Mosley and not Cotto... "Saying things like he would never do that with Cotto.. No reason too"

after the Lewis vs Tyson fight..probably the biggest fight of the past decade so everyone knew about it... I came back to high school the next day and these guys were talking aboout how Lewis and Tyson were fighting in the super heavyweight division and I clarified that the highest it went was heavyweight and yet they were still adament there was a super heavyweight division

now tell me has there ever been a professional super heavyweight division..no..so i have no idea what the hell they were thinking

The Filipina wasn't that hard to find... she's 5'10" and her dad & brother are even more freakishly tall. At weddings and other big clan events, it'd be the four of us looming head, shoulders, and some ribs above the sea of heads.

 

Ive heard some incredibly stupid ****ing things from random people, well, from women actually, some examples

"Cotto? Isnt he that guy that is like a really good middleweight? He's going to fight that white guy right? The one that beat RJJ?"

"Holyfield is still fighting? He has been champion that long?"

Watching a flyweight fight "Is this like a boxing junior fight for kids?"

During Gatti-Gomez "Doesnt that guy know his eye is bleeding? Doesnt that hurt" No *****, it feels good, what the **** do you think?

Watching Wladimir Klitschko fight Hasim Rahman "That white guy is huge, what division is this? (Heavy weight) This is a heavyweight fight? Is that why they are so big?

I could go on and on. When I watch fights I generally refuse to allow women in vicinity of the TV. If they are allowed, they must provide both beer and be making me food, and they are not allowed to talk other than "what do you want on the sandwich". If they ask questions, me hissing at them shall be a perfectly acceptable response.

This is probably the only annoying drawback to having exclusively female friends.

 

I have some Chinese friends who are not completely fluent in English and they always say "When is XXX going to play boxing with xxx". It is not intentional but I have educated them over and over that it is NOT "play boxing".
