It's not the Furys it's all British boxers. The boxing crowd in the UK is so enthusiastic and so partisan that their low level belt holders and domestic level fighters get treated like p4p stars. Haye, Bellew, Frampton, Eubank jr., Khan, Chisora, Ricky Burns, etc. It's too bad this is just an English language forum, because I'd love to hear what the scene looks like from a Spanish or Japanese speaker's perspective.

all true, thats why the britts that dont fall under that umbrella and call it down the line, i take more serious in serious discussions. but thats true for most posters from any fan group, since most have a less enthusiastic version of the same thing.

Firstly, tonight was Hughie's worst ever performance. He abandoned everything he's good at - footwork, head movement etc. He's never fought the style he fought tonight before and I doubt he ever will again. Truly awful performance and a long road back.

Secondly, Hughie has never looked anywhere near Tyson's level.

Thirdly, and most importantly, it's absolutely ridiculous to mention both as though they're the same fighter. They're cousins, not even brothers. Tyson is much bigger and better. Two different fighters, two different levels.

Hughie seems to lack confidence. His body language is negative. His dad fronts most interviews and speaks for him.

Seems like he's not his own man.

Hughie is terrible, Tyson is levels above but does get overrated. I think the Wilder fight will put some of it in perspective.
