Do you think Anthony Small wins next Friday (12th September) against
former USA's contender star Freddy Curiel? - this fight is not a certainty for
Anthony, as Freddy is no mug (knocking out fellow prospect Ross Minter
last year). If he does win, what next for Anthony?
How far do you think he can go? Is he ready for a rematch with Pryce?

I don't have much time for Small. His all style and zero substance. Admittedly he wasn't given a thorough fair shake vs Pryce but that was his own fault and not Bradley's. I honestly believe his career is destined to amount to squat. His yet to contest ANY domestic title of any sort, has mixed it up with the fringes fo domestic class and been found wanting and yet loudly declares his going to be a world champ? Of what exactly?

I really dislike the kid so would love to see him lose vs Curiel. Small could realistically become a good domestic level fighter but he will come up short against European level guys. Warren seems to have big plans for him.

His victory over Tak was VERY flattering considering Taks best days are long gone. He`s not even EBU level yet. He spent more time copying RJJ than perfecting his own fighting style. The kid is nothing more than a hollow impressionist.

You maybe right, however he is now with a fulltime trainer Brian Lawrence (who also trains the talented Napa) having left Spencer Fearon (who now continues his Promoting and Journalism career) and I think his performance against Tak, whilst was flattering, was more controlled and less "show boating" than previous outings..hopefully this will also be reflected on the 12th Sep..

Rhodes would be a good bout and a positive indication of how well he can mix it up domestically. But then again Rhodes has seen much better days..

I think Small has the talent to mix with the better light middle weights we have and fights against Rhodes, Pryce and Moore would be entertaining.

Our light middles are quite sparse these days. And Moore would smash him to bits.

I quite like the division. No outstanding talent that could go for a world title but a few decent match ups to be made. Moore vs Small would be good, I just hope Moore actually gets his Euro belt fight. Small is no way near that standard or ready for such a fight against the good Europeans.

He's won and defended the Southern Area belt, ya okay not a great domestic title but a domestic title none the less.

If your being semantic yes. But the area belts are quite insignificant. Just off topic: whatever happened to the "English" title?:think

The "English" title still pops up every now and again at various weights. I think Paul Smith vs Steve Bendall fought for it at Middle recently.

The English belt is being fought for as much as ever,

Heavyweight: John McDermott beat Pele Reid for it 5 months ago

Cruiserweight: Rob Norton beat Tommy Eastwood for it a year and a half ago

Light-Heavyweight: Tony Oakey fights Courtney Fry for the vacant title on the undercard of Napa v Ballone.

Super-Middlweight: Tony Dodson beat Jamie Hearn for it 2 years ago

Middleweight: Steven Bendall won the title off Paul Smith just over 2 months ago.

Light-Middleweight: Andrew Facey defended it with a draw against Thomas McDonagh 3 months ago.

Welterweight: Adnan Amar beat Mark Lloyd for the title 4 months ago.

Light-Welterweight: Scott Haywood fighsts for the vacant title this Friday on Munroe's undercard. He was meant to be fighting Wright for it but that's off.

Lightweight: John Fewkes fights Martin gethin for it on the Munroe undercard.

Super-Featherweight: Femi Fehintola beat Steven Bell for it last November

Featherweight: Derry Matthews beat Steve Chinnock for it in January of 2006.

Super-bantamweight: Mark Moran defends the title against Esham Pickering on Jamie Moore's undercard this month.

Bantamweight: Jamie McDonnel beat Wayne Bloy for it a year and ahalf ago.

Super-Flyweight: Andy Bell beat Wayne Bloy for it last December.

Flyweight: Chris Edwards beat Dale Robinson for it nearly two years ago.

So that's what happened to the English title.
