Do people on here believe George groves can go on to achieve great things in boxing? After his next fight, where the stakes will be high obviously, what do you think would be the best options for him? I think he has the all the tools - movement, sharpness, a good jab, power, to do very well. Interested to hear some opinions...
By that argument you could say Gennady Golovkin also lacks charisma...Maybe I'm wrong and it's just the language barrier
True. But triple G more than makes up for it with his astounding power. Not sure double G has quite such a convincing leveller. :think
Groves doesn't quite have golovkin-esque power, but you need to be carrying some serious firepower to hurt froch that badly. I'd go as far to say that he's the biggest puncher at 168 currently.
Groves without doubt has a snappy right hand when he lets go What sort of opponents will he face following the Froch rematch? (if it comes to fruition, obv..)
World is his oyster when he smacks the big nosed Polish **** all over the ring again on the 24th of May.
If he wins against Froch that really get's his name out there. I think he has plenty of talent and enough charisma. I don't have any specific fights in mind but he should avoid Ward or GGG for a while and fight all the other top ranked SMW he can to hone his skills and gain experience before fighting the likes of Ward and Golovkin.
Lack charisma??? He's done big PPV numbers already without winning a major strap. Could argue he has the charisma to have the public believing his every fight is some sort of grudge match. Admittedly my view is blinkered I am very pro Groves
How do we know if Golovkin's power carries in the championship rounds? How do we know Groves' power doesn't?
