World class fighter. He is in a different league and I knew he would stop Smith. But fair play to Smith is one tough fighter and no shame losing to Degale.

But Degale is the best British fighter coming through and is the PPV star in the making

Surprised of the composure of Chunky given how inexperienced he is, I would have liked to seen him tagged a bit more to gauge his chin.

    Great performance

Shame he spoilt it in his post fight interview by saying he's on a "journey".... I think I've heard just about enough of that **** thanks

Very impressive considering the stage he is at and how he looked in his first pro outing!

Looked just as fresh in the 9th as he did in the first. Picked Smith off at will and looked at ease with the inside game. Jim McDonnell has done well with him.

I thought Brook looked excellent tonight also. Granted Kotey wasn't up to much, Brook seems to have great timing and is great with his footwork and keeping distance, he has great shot selection and reflexes and certainly wouldn't be out of his depth against Mike Jones. Cleverly showed his flaws that were always there really, but much more apparent tonight. No head movement, can't time a jab properly despite the reach advantages he has over most opponents. Looking to blast guys out of there wont work for him at world level and he struggled to figure out a slick but limited opponent.

Im very impressed! Sharp and has a natural sense of timing and distance. What impressed me most though was his defence off the ropes in the 8th or 9th. Rolls and moves his upper body in a very impresive manner. I cant wait to see how far Chunky goes!
