    - Mayweather, boxing's transcendent star has retired. Manny Pacquiao will soon retire too. The only two boxing household names, retired

    - Haymon mismatches

    - Poor heavyweight division

    - The best not fighting the best and lack of unification matches

Honestly, the future doesn't look bright for boxing.

The future looks ****ing brilliant...unless you only watch US fights.

We have guys like Inoue, Tanaka, Maruta, Ken Shiro, Zoda, Higa, Bivol, Beterbiev, Magsayo, Lomachenko, Yilidrim, Berinchyk, Usyk, all coming through the ranks (at an accelerated pace).

The best, at least at the lower weights, seem to be seriously looking at each other and eyeing up fights with each other.

The Heavyweight division is on the verge of blowing-the-****-up with the Parker, Joshua, Fury and a number of other young promising guys.

It shouldn't look so bad if you look at it from Europe.
