They need to fight more often, specially Rigondeaux, Ortiz and all the others 30's fighters.

Yunier Dorticos is apparently trying out John David Jackson as a coach. This one right here I actually hope it works out! Would be great! I know Ugas is satisfied with JDJ. Ugas' management had him leave JDJ and go out to Las Vegas for a couple fights and he didn't like it. Said he was much happier with JDJ. I was right there when Ugas told JDJ just 2 weeks ago (Through a translator obviously lol) "When I get my title shot it's you I want in my corner." I think it will work, Ugas and Dorticos ride over together and train at the same time so I guess that keeps them comfortable.

John David Jackson is excellent corner. I'm surprised though how hard the amateur-to-pro transition is for Ugas, he's struggling like Demetrius Andrade. He must keep dedicated 100% and not follow stupid **** some others do lately and he'll make some noise if his chin holds up.

Tuto Zabala's falling out with the Miccosukee is bad news for everyone, especially his fighters. Hopefully soon he finds a new Miami location to put on shows as much as he did before. If/when that happens, I'm sure we'll see a lot more activity out of Maja. . . Tuto Zabala's matchmaker said they want to make Maja the Miami version of Wilfredo Vasquez Jr. (For those that don't know, WV2 is a decent draw in Kissimmee, always brings lots of Puerto Ricans out.)

Bad news about my favorite of all the Cubans, Angelo Santana. Broke his left hand again. Will be out for a few months probably. Bad enough he hasn't fought in 5 months, and who knows how long it'll take for Don King to get him a fight when he's ready again. Angelo last fought on 12/17/10 we're probably looking at a year lay off. Hopefully we see him in the ring again before 2012 but I don't think it's very likely.

Rigondeaux should fight Arce next or Donaire, he needs to fight the top guns now.

In my opinion Rigo-Donaire should be the BIG 122 fight in about a year or so

Of course he only wants big fights, he has a belt with only 7-8 fights and 30 years old, why waste time.

I agree, but it will not be any heck of a fight. Rigondeaux beats Arce ALA Casey! Rigo is just too skilled and slick for Arce but will love to see that fight. It needs to happen now as Rigo is already 30 years old, he can't afford to keep on waiting !!! :-(
