A cuban fighter who might deserve more attention is Richard Abril. He is ranked number 5 in WBA and number 10 in WBC lightweight. He is 29 years old and have 16 wins and 2 losses. Debut as a pro came 2005

I like Abril. In my eyes he's 17-1. The Prescott decision was pretty bad. I had him Winning that fight. His other Loss was also really close. Haven't seen that one though.

 

The one that I don't c doing $hit is Dorticos, he is on the fast lane and soon or later will catch up to him.

 

Our best top 4 Cubans are Gamboa, Rigondeaux, Lara and Solis without a doubt. Then the list goes down to other solid prospects like Luis Franco, Mike Perez, Rances Barthelemy, Yuniesky Gonzalez, Angelo Santana, Luis Ortiz, Yudel Jhonson, Acosta, Yoandry Salinas etc. There are others but they are still very young but promise a lot like Socarraz, Ugas, Luis Garcia, Glendy Hernandez, Leduan Barthelemy and others.

 

Agree very much, But what about Pedro Julio Rodriguez and Vilier Quononez. Both need more fights but i like what i see.
