Funny you mentioned Vilier Quinones I was just coming on here to tell everyone I have really upsetting news as to why he's been so inactive. He was supposed to fight in Las Vegas back in April but he failed his cat scan and was forced to retire from Boxing for good because of a traumatic brain injury. Very sad I think he was very talented. He had no problem getting in there with Yuniesky, Dorticos, Jhonson, etc. I've seen him with all 3. It really is too bad.

 

Since we're making lists here my favorite Cuban Boxer is without a doubt the man in my Avatar Mr. Yoandris Salinas! For 2nd place it's a 3 way tie between Santana, Ortiz, & Maja. I think they'll all be world champions! Even if they Lose a fight or 2 before they get their titles just give 'em some time!. . . Salinas ATLEAST without a doubt deserves the award for "Most Improved." He looked like sh!t his first 3 fights but ever since Henry Rivalta scooped him up he's slowly starting to become a celebrity down here. Deservingly so! He fought flawlessly in my opinion on Friday night. He's a damn stud!

Seems like Jorge Guierrez just had one fight , Press gave him good critics in that fight in Costa Rica ? Olympic middleweight gold ten years ago Cruiser in his pro-debut with early k.o win. Remember him as the white cuban winning boxing gold.

Really sorry about Vilier Quinonez. Dont think he was a top 3 middleweight in Cuba but his two pro-fights really impressed me.
