Good info, thanks for that. A few names I'm unfamiliar with. There's great potential there, it's unfortunate there isn't much promotional backing behind it. I don't think Arum was wrong about the difficulty in promoting Cubans, though this might change in 10 years. However in Gamboa's case, I think that Arum was underexposing him more due to Bob not having full promo rights to Yuri, with Oner being the primary one, I guess. Oner is a lowlife, but he did a pretty good job getting Yuri exposure fast, if only the Irish Cubans had signed with him.

Looking forward to seeing Santana and Rances on TV. Santana is with Don King I believe, who has a hard time putting his guys on TV.

It calls communism...you dont own your own life, the government does.Hard to understand.El machetero cabron for example believes its right-as long as doesnt affect himself-that some athletes cant decide what to do with their life.Cuba uses the sport as a propaganda to enhance their success. Its sad bro, but things are about to change.

they put you on a black list, ban you from every sport facility in the country and put you under watch by the police so you can't try to defect again. it happened to rigondeaux a few years ago

Well ****, why not let their pros compete and just take their money they make or am I missing something. Because once they leave they wont come back?
