Undefeated Cuban light heavyweight Yunieski Gonzalez (9-0, 5 KOs) battered Bahamian opponent Jermaine Mackey (18-6, 14 KOs) for 10 rounds to earn a unanimous decision win. The durable Mackey got in his shots but couldn’t close the gap on the judges’ cards, which read 100-89 for Gonzalez.

Cuban super featherweight Rances “Kid Blast” Barthelemy (17-0, 11 KOs) blasted his Mexican opponent Alejandro “Soma” Rodriguez (14-7, 7 KOs) across 8 rounds to earn a unanimous decision victory in the televised Telefutura Solo Boxeo co-main event from Miami’s Airport Convention Center. Barthelemy loaded up savage left hooks throughout the action, knocking Rodriguez down in the first and controlling the pace from the opening bell. Judges awarded Barthelemy identical scores of 80-71.

Super bantamweight Hairon Socarras (5-0-1, 4 KOs) of Cuba notched a unanimous decision over southpaw DeWayne Wisdom (2-6, 1KO) of Indianapolis in their 4-round contest. Judges had it 39-37 and 40-36 (twice) for the Cuban.

Barthelemy should had KO the Mexican, he was loading up too much imo... And Gonzalez clowned too much and wait too long, another that left his opponenet off the hook, Mayedo did really good.
