Arum has enough power to put a decent card on.Neither Donaire and less Rigondeaux are big ticket sellers. But the winner of their match will emerge a top p4p and can be hunting for megafights.A fight in Miami would sell good.

Rigondeaux managers lawyer lashes out at Top Rank

Earlier today I sent an e mail inviting a written proposal for review.

I have now read two articles quoting Bob Arum to the effect that Mr.

Rigondeaux will remain with Top Rank.

Those statements seem to be offered as fact and not opinion. Let me

make this clear. Any offer must be placed in writing and will be

considered. However, it is not accurate to suggest that any new

contract is in any way a fait accompli and Bob should be so advised.

The sole commitment made is to consider any written proposal.

Rigo and YP Hernandez both defended their belts. Not the best fight for any of them.

    Acquinity Sports inks Alexei Collado

Unbeaten super bantamweight Alexei Collado (15-0, 14 KOs) has signed a long term promotional contract with Acquinity Sports. The 24-year-old Cuban prospect has developed his professional career in Ireland. Collado told his promoter Henry Rivalta that the contract made him very happy and that very soon he will be in the USA. At 5’11, Collado is very tall for a 122 pounder. He presently lives in Ireland and is managed by Patrick Thomas who executed the agreement with Rivalta. Rivalta said that Collado could make his U.S. debut on the next Acquinity Sports event in December. “It was a good negotiation with Patrick Thomas, he is a real professional. We are anxious to work with Alexei, he is a hard working young man who will fit in to our program very nicely. We know he will be embraced by the Cuban fans and no doubt will make an impact in the division,” stated Rivalta

Fightnews has been informed by Oswado Kuchle, promoter of IBF super featherweight champion Juan Carlos Salgado, that TMT Promotions never delivered on the fight contract for a proposed clash between Salgado (26-1-1, 16 KOs) and unbeaten former WBA featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa. “I believe that the November 17 TV date is no longer available,” said Kuchle. “IBF champion Salgado will now consider other offers we have on the table for him including a TV date on Mexican network Televisa
