Yunieski Gonalez was a heavyweight in Cuba lost the final in the cuban championship by two points. Defeated Luis Ortiz in the semifinal !
Seen some of his profesional fights on Youtube, throwing few punches, litte slow but hits hard. Not sure if he have stamina for 10 rounds.

Former WBC light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal (30-3-1, 17 KOs) won a controversial ten round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten former Cuban national team member Yuniesky Gonzalez (16-1, 12 KOs) on Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, Las Vegas. It was a brutal fight with many wild exchanges. Gonzalez took the fight to Pascal, pushing him back and seemingly outworking him in most rounds. Scores were 96-94 on all cards for Pascal. Judges were Richard Ocasio, Eric Cheek and John McKaie.

VERY CONTROVERSIAL DECISION, MOST PEOPLE HAD GONZALEZ WINNING!!!!

A Fight of the year candidate !
