Highly regarded unbeaten Cuban Olympian featherweight Luis Franco (6-0, 5 KOs) scored an impressive fifth round TKO over veteran Yogli “Olafo” Herrera (25-12, 15 KOs). Herrera scored a flash knockdown in round three, but Franco dominated the fight, putting Herrera on the deck in both rounds four and five before the bout was stopped. Sullivan Barrera won by ko in round one over debutant Kerry Bldsoe.

Now we are looking forward to see Lara (154) and Despaigne (175) on tv ESPN2 the 18 of this month. They are already ranket in a big organisation and keep moving closer to a title-fight.

Reward Marti lost by k.o. in the 2.round to Nilson Julio Tapia in Panama yesterday. It was his first loss, he is 6-1-1.It was for the vacant WBA Fedecentro middleweight title.

Well Lads I told you Rigo would be stepping up this October and its looking like he will be fighting Ricardo Cordoba!:deal

Time will tell with Rigondeaux, Gamboa, and Lara. They're the ones that have the most potential. The others I'm iffy to unexpectant on. That said, the Cubans definitely have the best class of prospects at the moment.

 

Lara won i 1 round, Despaigne on points,Ugas in 2 round and Rances Barhelemy in 1 round. Dorticos also on the card but not sure if he boxed.

I'd avoid Poonsawat right now if I was Rigondeaux. Don't think it's a good match up for him.
