It is my opinion that Solis received a lot more critizisme than he deserves. In his fights with Barrett,Drumond and Austin we saw a Solis who seemed to go from beeing impressiv to almost lazy. In my opinion he used those fights ,those rounds, to get experience at top 10 level (or top 15) . I dont say he will beat Vitali K , but he got a lot of tools to make a good job on the night. Hand Speed, precicion, guard. Never been in any trouble in his pro-fights ,been almost to easy. The point is that we lack evidence of the waknesses he got. weight at 260-270 is almost everything people have to pt on him. Many of those people regard him a Arreola-clone. If they dont see Solis got much more class they are not experts. I believe Solis weight increase is because he building bigger muscles as well as eating (too) much. He is not the fat guy many describe him as.

He is more talented than most HW today, but 270 in a 6'1" athlete frame that hope to win a Belt is not dedication to the sport, if he weight 235lbs for his fight against K he will have a better chance, stamina, quickness, and movility will give him more weapons to defeat any of the brothers, but I think he wants his paiday and retire. What a wasted of talent.

    Rigondeaux - Casey Sold Out!
On March 19th 2011 Limericks own Cinderella-Man takes another leap into the unknown when he challenges Guillermo Rigondeaux for his WBA Super-Bantamweight title. Having defied all the odds to capture the European title, pummelling Paulie Hyland over four blistering rounds, Willie Casey embarks on a road less travelled by his fellow countrymen. Interestingly Ireland take on England in rugby at 5pm that day so Irish sports fans are sure to be licking their lips again with not-too-distant memories of Bernard Dunne fighting Ricardo Cordoba the same day as Ireland winning the six nations two years ago. continue l 39 comments

I think they making this fight to erase GR last fight, Casey, from what I had heard is the perfect opponent for a fighter like Rigondeaux.

Lets hope the cuban take more belts in the year 2011.

    Gamboa and Rigondeaux have.

Solis might get one in a few months
Lara seems to be very near he is avoided and feared. Despaigne and Franco and Ortiz getting closer to a titlefight

Luis Franco will be a headliner in Showtime Feb. 4 against a guy that has 32-2 record with an 88% ko ratio that is rated 43 in the division by boxrec's computers. His name is Neolio something from mexico. It seems that Gary Shaw is pushin this kid fast
