I heard Gamboa is suppose to fight Jorge Solis next. Look forward to that. Interesting thing is that Solis is the interim super featherweight champ, while Gamboa fights at featherweight.

WORLD heavyweight champion David Haye will fight in May, possibly against the winner of the Vitali Klitschko-Odlanier Solis bout on March 19.

Vitali Klitschko’s fight with Solis for the WBC title is interesting because, if Vitali wins, David would love to take him on.

“If Solis wins, it will be a rematch of their fight in the world amateur championships, where Solis won and David took the silver. That would be a great fight

An early night for the cubans.

    Lara won in one round
Glendy Hernandez won in one round
Yuniesky Gonzalez won in two round. He was only 180 pound. He might make lightheavy.
This 25 year old guy was number 2 heavy in Cuba. He is now 2-0

Anybody in this forum think the irish-based trio not ready to fight a top 40 (Boxrec) ?
In my opinion Collado-Acosta,Garcia and Perez all should be ready and capable to win.

I haven't c Hernandez or Gonzalez, but plenty of Lara and he is almost there I'll not favor too many fighters around his weight to beat him, Ugas, franco, Acosta, Perez and Garcia are good prospects and young they have time, and Solis needs to lose 25-30lbs if he wants to win that belt and make some real money, but he maybe content with the purse he is receiving and miss out on the real one if he beat VK.
