The younger brother of Yuriorkis Gamboa is in miami and training with him, his father aswell as assistant trainer, There is not much info about this kid apart from the fact that he trained with the cuban defectors in Cuba and a few clips of him running and trowing a few punches in the gym,

I will keep the forum updated on a possible new talent, but untill we know and see further more his just gamboa little brother.

Just heard the "Irish" Cubans will be stepping up in class again, Garcia will be fighting a British/Commonwealth Level fighter no doubt Acosta and Perez will also get stern tests.

as soon as I get confirmed names I will hit you guys up

A very interesting quote from the Dan Rafael chat:

Tim (Lincoln): Is there anything in talks for Rigondeaux's debut? How far do you think he makes it as a pro starting this late?

Dan Rafael: Nothing specific yet that I am aware of. But he will turn pro. How he does? No idea. But I am told he may be trained by his idol, Pernell Whitaker.

From what I understand Guillermo Rigondeaux, Age 28 is the most talented of the group.
However at his age his window may be very small.
I have seen fotage of Mike Perez - Age 23. I'm not ready to call him the next great heavyweight but he is young and has potitional.

well it seems theyre a victim of theyre own sucess and no one wants to fight them!

show is being moved back to the 25th of april

they need guys to bring them up the rankings. garys hoping to have Luis and Mike up around the top 30 in the world by the end of the year

I have no doubt they will pack theyre bags and make the long trip to america for MASSIVE fights

Little Alexi is a bit behind the other two at the moment but his hand is 100% now so he will start moving up in class aswell

thanks for the info.. btw, even if Garcia didnt KO this dude, he looked very good. better than in that other fight in youtube where he got the KO... Unfortunately, everything the other fighter did is cover his head the whole fight. He is like a bigger Gamboa! Less speed but the flash, arrogance, cockyness, ring confidence, talent and swag is there.

he brought all that when he was sparring with Froch the boys not intimidated by any reputations.

imo Perez and Garcia needed those fights to get the experiance of being frustrated they wont have everything theyre own way all the time.

Perez was sparring with Tyson Fury.

In theyre first session Perez was about 14 lbs over weight. and as a result fury was able to land on him and put his massive weight down on him. fury definately came out the winner of that one.

but the second time the lads sparred Mike was closer to his fighting weight and his speed caused Fury no end of problems and mike was able to get in land get out without getting hit. perez took the second one by a country mile.

the first sparring session too place a few months back the second one is more recent
