Good point. Even going back farther than that, Hopkins and Calzaghe made the move successfully. The old guard that was in place was basically waiting to get put out to pasture but until recently, the young natural 175 lb fighters weren't up to the challenge. I think we'll see that trend continue over the next year or two until the talent gap between 168 and 175 narrows some. If I were a fighter like Sakio Bika who can't seem to ever get a matchup, for example, I'd think long and hard about making the move up there. I'd probably pick him over Cloud right now.
