The Future of MMA

This is the new breed. Kids training MMA from day one. This should see the sport evolve further.

 

Interesting video.

I have seen similar things in regards to boxing prodigys-Pretty Boy Bam Bam among others, 5 or 6 years old videos of them on the pads impressive stuff.

Hopefully it translates to success later in life, but it is up to these kids to stick with it and maintain discipline, no one can do it for them.

I was at a BJJ tourny a few months ago and its always awesome to see the kids go at it. They soak up new moves so fast like a sponge. These two kids look awesome. Wether there the future of MMA remains to be seen. Someone call me when they discover *****

 

Bam Bam is STUPIDLY talented. Thats kids hands are extraordinary for someone so young. I hope all these kids stick with it.

 

Those little dudes look awesome. It will be very interesting to see them in the future. I agree with you Pimp, with kids like these it makes me thing the future is looking good for MMA as a sport.

 

The problem with this is that Dana White will rush one of this kid along and match him up with Jose Aldo in two years on the Lidell vs. Ortiz 4 undercard.
Then youre back to square one of very little prospects.

 

ahh your joking right? dana might be a greedy promoter but how does he get a 25 year old vs a 7 year old sanctioned by the athletic commission.

mabe that fight takes place where they had the quadriplegic kyle maynard fight in Alambama.

In regards to this MMA video, it definitely bodes well for the sport in the future, being that it's so popular now, people are going to start having their kids train at younger ages, much like some of the most talented boxers did (Roy Jones, Floyd Mayweather, Mosley, DLH, etc.)

 

I think its becoming too specialized in the states. People have grabbed hold of and taken off with wrestling and bjj as bases, mostly ignored Judo.

We have seen how effective bases like Judo can be, as well as striking styles like Karate can be mixed in with what is becoming traditional bjj/wrestling, muay thai.

On the bright side, I'm really glad to see the legitimacy of the sport, adults promoting it for their children, and the discipline involved thus far. It's cool to see these kids.

 

Check him out on Youtube. Look for the one with ESPN where he does a 70 punch combo. Seriously its ****ing ridiculous. That kids is sooo dam nice!

 

Theres nothing new with young kids training and fighting, theres nothing new with young kids training in MMA. This has been going on in Russia and Eastern European countries for a while now. Other kids from other parts of the world are also training.

Damn we should really keep an update on this kid, saw that vid a long time ago and it just wowed me.

 

Bam bam is the ****ing man. He looks awesome. Look at him here. He does 100 push ups but is tired at 50 but digs deep for another 50. Awesome ****.
