Well the polls indicates what I believed which is a G-Man's victory. I don't see Froch surviving those shots by the G-Man at all.
mclellan had too much power and speed for froch to fight with his hands down i dont care how solid his chin was if he fought g man like he did taylor or dirrell he would be brutally koed they stunned him and they didnt have half the power gerald did
If McClellan does not knock out Froch in the first 4 rounds I think Froch would win by decison. Not really sure if McClellan could KO Froch.
Froch is tough, has a heart of stone but Benn was also hard as ****ing nails, if you did not knock him out he never stopped coming, I dunno who is the more efficient fighter but Froch would take a backwards step before Benn would have even thought about doing so. I'd say a close fight, Froch can always fight a full 12, we never saw Gerald do this so maybe in the later rounds things get interesting.
That wasn't my point mate, stop being picky. I said Froch has got a good amateur background, how many British amateurs have won a medal at the worlds? My point was Froch has underrated skills, because he can look slow and awkward. For the record Benn was 22 when he won his ABA title in '86, just 2 years older than Froch was when he won his world bronze. Benn was retired as a pro at the age of 32. Froch is now 33 and will be 34 in a couple of weeks (i know this because his birthday is the day before mine) and he is still going strong. That 's not because his better, it's because his a different fighter with a different career. My point here is, age has **** all to do with it, everyone progresses differently. If your getting picky because you think i'm underselling Benn, then here listen. Benn is one of my heroes, i followed him religiously has a fighter, and was gutted when he was defeated. The only other two fighters i have supported as strongly and passionately were Hagler and Lewis. Is it because i don't see the G-man blowing him out? It's a possibilty of course, McClellan's right hand was a phenomenal, and Froch is a sucker for it, but Froch has earned a lot of respect and deservedly so, that is why i wouldn't underestimate him with McClellan, or any ****er at super-middle. I've noticed over the last couple of weeks you have a strong love for British super-middles, and middleweights in general. Well your not the only one. Anyway if your gonna be picky mate, then do it with something worthwhile. I'm making honest observations about Froch, it's opinion mate. :thumbsup
