and on the note of Joe vs Pavlik.... there's nothing i have to say about that.. people are so sure about such and such will happen they get caught up in their own fables. I would just love to see this fight because I do not know the outcome. I do feel if Pav catches him with those straights... Joe is over but if Joe can maintain for all 12.. the outcome might be like Taylor Pav II. Joe trying to avoid Pav. but we just dont know.... just makee it happpen
Miranda is better than this 43 year old Hopkins. Yes. If Miranda landed his right on slappy like Hopkins did....................slappy is gone. If not out cold, hurt to the point of not being able to get away from the onslaught. The ref or his corner would stop it.
I agree, Pavlik is gonna win easily and he is great to watch. However, the argument that Pavlik is going to beat Calzaghe with ease I cannot agree with. Some people round here act like they have been into boxing for a week or two. Then again, they probably have.
Robin Reid I'm talking about judging a fighter on World Class standards. Ok at his best he was decent - stopping Vincenzo Nardiello in Italy and pushing Calzaghe all the way. But at times he is worse than crap he was terrible - his fight with Thlane Malinga is one of the worst if not thee worst world title fight I have ever witnessed. For the first 4 rounds I dont think Reid landed with a clean shot - he was more concerned about his modelling career at that stage than getting involved in a fight. Like Jim Watt said at the time if your not prepared to get punched on the nose you might as well quit the sport. Reid still whinges about Calzaghe and will for the rest of his life rue the decsion of the judges feeling he should have been given the draw or even the victory. But so what Reid - get over it - even if he deserved to win that night - overall Joe Calzaghes career is far greater than Robin Reids.
what the hell is all this Max? After Lockett gets his boots smoked early, wait for Enzo and his boys to come out with the same shite as when Haye smoked Maccarinelli 'they are both massive punchers and it was always gonna be a case of who landed first, luckily for Pavlik it was him. Gary would've retired him for good had it gone 12'.
Why bother posting If you ask what the hell Is this? Not saying Lockett will win, he has a chance as the Middleweight division Is quite open though. Anyone who hypes up Miranda needs to look at his fights and record properly, before Eastman, they were all journeymen and was weirdly ranked In the IBF.
Guys, anything can and often does happen in boxing...this is why they fight the fights. Although I think that Kelly clearly outclasses Lockett in every variable, don't be surprised if Lockett takes Pavlik to the brink!!
That is in every way impossible. The laws of physics, chemistry, biology, genetics and astonomy make that a total impossibility.
