Gary Locket was a fringe contender, and clearly had some degree of talent, even relative to the highest level of the sport. He was tough, hard working and a likable fighter. He showed a lot of guts in the Pavlik fight, however he showed he clearly did not belong at the top of the division. I would favor Sturm, but yes its possible locket would win. that is all anyone could say about Locket. NOW SHUT THE **** UP!
I don't remember Sturm ever being "chinny" enough for there to be concern about whatever Lockett would be able to land cleanly on him. :huh
I actually have seen two fights of Lockett's, the first being against a 16-2 fighter named Mehidi. As I recall Lockett was the underdog yet came up with a TKo victory. Of course against Pavlik he was out of his league but Pavlik was the #1 in the world at the time.
That fool had the illest ICE GRILL for a bum ever. First time I saw him I thought about mr. smith from the matrix And sturm wins by absolute ass whipping. Sturm can't help but to open up and knock this padded record bum out the box LOL.
