Brilliant ATG. Always in punching position. So relaxed at all times.

Loved watching this...how languid and effortless were those punches by Moore...timing, placement, power,....everything. Moore had it all...he's up there with SRR as a great, all time puncher.

The craft from guys like Moore, Johnson, Maxim, is a lost art but Moore also had incredible power for his size.

The Old Mongoose was as much a master boxer as Renoir was a master painter, making the ring his canvas. Such fluidity and intelligence at hand, the way he turned defense into offence and offence into defense is pleasing to the mind.

Moore is just an awesome all round fighter. I shudder to think how ridiculously good Ezzard Charles was at 175.

Moore says he was robbed of a decision in one of their fights because the fight was in Charles hometown

Well I haven't seen any of the fights between them. I don't believe they were caught on film. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Charles Book covers the second Moore fight. Close, but not a robbery

Some simple research goes a long way.
