Well Lyle made a comeback himself in 94 I believe, so... 76 Lyle against 91 Foreman would of been interesting. George was a lot more relaxed and a bit cuter with the punches, and indeed defence. His chin was good, but not bullet proof; he sparked badly in sparring around this time, so he would have to be careful. My guess is Lyle probably just outlasts Foreman to edge a very close 10 round decision.
The older Foreman had a bit more wisdom and learned how not to blow his load early but the younger version was a 4 round beast, still he was fed a long list of tomato cans and most of his fights except a few were over fighters with losing records...the Younger version was a beast but with many unknowns, they avoided guys like Bonavena and Quarry because the both had good chins, decent stamina and some power...Foreman was Olympic stock but very amateurish as he got older he learned pace and how to relax but again did not really fight a guy who pushed him but the older version matured and mastered some of his very large weaknesses
the george that made his comeback was a smarter fighter than younger george george was able to pace himself a lot better and had a good fight plan which would of enabled him to knock ron out soon:yep:think
........ George chuvalo was stronger than bonavena and quarry, he had more power ,decent stamina and better chin, chuvalo destroyed quarry... Sadler avoided quarry because he was a fast counter puncher, he did not want risks , but very probably quarry would be stoped by cuts taking punishment, bonavena? Hahaha bonavena would be ko for sure.
every post from you is a new nonsense hahaahah george chuvalo wa smuch stronger physically, he was 6´0 and 214-220 pounds of solid ****ing animal. chuvalo 73(64ko) 68%ko a ****ing rock and obviously stronger and harder puncher than bonavena and quarry, with better chin than them both .he knocked out quarry by the count. jerry quarry 53(32ko) 48%ko 6´0 195-200 pounds a fast counter puncher oscar 58(44ko) 64% ko 5´10 205 pounds a decent puncher a durable boxer. so your opinion is basing on pure crap and your imagination like always.
Old George was still strong as an ox,and could take a good shot. I say Lyle's busier work would earn him a clear decision. George would rock him a few times along the way.
mm i do not know who would win, but rony lyle would give work to any version of foreman, lyle was a ****ing animal, he could punch and he could fight, he had heart, good chin, good reach. (he was not a kid cruiser like marciano or short as tyson) obviously prime vs prime foreman wins but it would not be a pic nic.
Chuvalo was not a sharp or fast puncher and was very easy to hit...Quarry proved he could KO and dominate the Big Guys like Mac Foster,Shavers,Lyle,Middleton,Mathis and the Foreman people stood away from Quarry, Bonavena was a rhythm breaker and he had stamina and an awkward punch...I think they avoided him because he could take a decent punch, Quarry because he could take a very good punch (which nullified a slow puncher) Speed was Quarry kryptonite and that was something George did not possess
ko never.... forget it man... foreman had great chin and old foreman had iron chin. decision maybe but ko? noway. really i think that no fighter in th ehistory would ko old foreman. not even joseph louis barrow
