Looking back at the Badou jack fight he done really well coming back from the knockdown and having a close fight, especially with what jack has done since. Also wouldn't surprise if Badou is on the juice. Humbled eubanks and froch after froch was always talking about how eubank jr could fight like **** etc. You knew Froch really thought Groves would lose.
Don't think George had the chin heart or the ability to stay switched on for 12 rounds , he should have beaten Froch on both occasions comfortably he was by far the better boxer on both occurred
I agree that Groves wins. However, I think DeGale would rather face Groves than young English Eubank.
I think the Degale v Eubank fight is already done to be honest! I think Jr destroys the Degale that fought Truax. Lazy, lethargic, no power. He would be tailor made for the CrossFit champ.
DeGale must know deep within himself that young English is gonna slice n' dice him. I think he'd rather lose to Groves despite their history than young Christopher. The Eubank's just know how to aggravate people.
Well if he isn’t he definitely has magic stamina. Didn’t the US journalists at ringside have Groves winning that fight?
Good decision. I think it’s probably partly due to him being badly affected by the sad injuries to Gutknecht as well. I wish the saint a happy retirement after a great career.
George was lucky enough to have made enough money in order to retire comfortably without boxing on. He is probably spot on with this call. Great fighter and have enjoyed watching him mature through his career he even won me over as a fan post Froch 2.
Got his world title, became Ring Magazine champ, huge stadium fight that engrossed the nation, retires with a win over the man who "haunted" him, for want of a better word, during his amateur days, humbled Eubank and finished the hype, WBSS finalist, showed his great character to keep coming from world title setbacks...great career, hope he enjoys the fruits of his labour
