The German Boxing Federation has frozen $100,000 of Chisora’s $500,000 purse

You are not poor if you are making 500.000 Euros in one night. Joe Luis made 800.000 dollars in his entire career - now that has to be adjusted for inflation, but still.

 

not poor after the fight....but pre fight?? how much more was that than his biggest payday??

and then thay rob him again after the event.

Chisora was a nobody and a nothing until Wlad reached down from on high and plucked him from obscurity.

The Klits have given Chisora an unbelievable and undeserved opportunity, where he is now earning way more than he deserves.

He should be down on his knees in gratitude for everything they have gifted him. But he is pretty much a **** through and through.

 

That's $500,000 net. This goes to his corporation, which then has to pay:

Trainers, sparring partners, gym & other training costs, several lawyers, a manager, a press agent, body guards, insurance for the entire crew, an accountant, income tax, self-employment tax, etc etc etc,

- and oh yeah, there's usually a little left over for the fighter.

And this is by far his biggest payday ever. The much smaller paydays come maybe 2X a year, and have to cover the same overhead.

Man, Dough Boy is livin' LARGE !

 

He has now lost 3 of the last 4.

He should have taken the title shot for free and be happy about it.

Getting half a mill on top - is not being badly paid.

(that Vitaly collected some $15 mill is another matter).
