For clumsy read "Robotic" and what other part of my post is nonsense ? Fek me suggest anything other than VK is GOD and a bloke gets jumped on lol . i didn't realise the Ukraine had such a fan base but then again the division is such a load of bollocks these days i can understand people thinking the guy was the second coming after beating the outstanding Sam Peter's :patsch

I never said VK is god. What you said that in the past times VK would be considered a freak show, that is nonsense. The guy is no all-time great, but he is a good fighter and would be competetive in any era.

I am no VK nuthugger, but you are a VK hater.

Any boxer standing @ 6' 8" tall fighting when PC was fighting WOULD be considered a FREAK ,,, RIGHT OR WRONG ?

Just because i disagreed with a few comments regarding Vitaly Does that make me a hater ? Go look on the main board where i was one of the first to give the man his due props after he did exactly what i predicated he would do v Peter .. **** me this is what i hate about some boxing sites you question a man's standing in the all time rankings and you get labled a hater FFS LMFAO :-(

Yeah a 37 year old Lewis that took him on with 12 days notice after Kirk Johnson pulled out....and still made his face look like it'd been through a meat grinder. :)

Lewis did neither look fat nor shot. A bit past his prime perhaps...

ha ha 12 days notice my arse and i knew you would bring up the 37 years old bit. As Lewis and most boxing analyst said...he got better with age which i agree with, dont try this angle :nono:yep

He was getting beat on for the first time hn his career...poor fellow didnt want no rematch :yep

Vitali also fought Lewis on short notice :deal:deal:deal

Dont discredit Vitali effort Ippy cause you are afraid to admit his form that night was good and would be a hard match for a few other ATGs :yep

Without the cut both could have won this bout. But still Lewis won fair and square. But he should at least have given Vitali a rematch where they could have found out who of them realy is the better fighter. :)

I agree, it was one of the best big heavy events i can think of.

    Rematch would have been awesome

It was 12 days notice. There's not a single doubt in the world about that. Johnson pulled out and Vitali, who was due to fight on the undercard, stepped in.

Lewis got better with age? His prime years were clearly 95-2000, not long after his stoppages of Ruddock, Bruno and loss to McCall.

Ray Mercer gave him a closer fight ;)

Mercer gave him a great fight, some say he won. If the fight was allowed to continue i would have liked Vitali for the victory ;)

I thought Vitali stepped in a month beforehand, doesnt matter both had equal time to prepare for each other. Lewis was still good, he was still an atg and Vitali gave him trouble - we both can agree on this :yep

Hey Vitali put up a good effort against a fading champion. By that logic, Carl Williams and Jimmy Young must be a hard match for the ATGs?
