Huge Cotto fan here. Miguel is certainly allowed one defense of his choosing or even a non title fight before having to face GGG. But if he's not negotiating with GGG for defense by year end, he's gotta be stripped.

I think Golovkin Vs. Cotto at Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, USA would be a huge money fight. Golovkin can make weight at only 154 lbs., he is a small middleweight, but a huge puncher.............Ward refused to fight Stevenson at 175, so Stevenson said he would come down to 168, Ward still refused.............when asked if he would fight Kovalev, Ward said that Kovalev is too big for him, yet Ward fought as a light heavyweight as an amateur................Golovkin wants to clean out the 160 lb. division, he wants to fight Cotto first, Martinez refused to fight him, he wants to fight Quillin, Sturm, etc., and said he would come down to 154 to fight Mayweather, but Mayweather refused. Void should give up the 154 lb. titles and Ward should no longer hold his title, since he appears to have retired. Ward will only fight in his home town, with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc., and Ward wants huge amount of money while his opponents gets peanuts.................

Bollox. There is a video on you tube of Mosley saying that he used to weigh in at 147, and by fight time he would weigh 160, but that was nothing, he also claimed bigger Welters like Clottey, Marg, and Baldo weighed 170 by fight time.

No way GGG only rehydrates 10lbs.

GGG enters the ring between 170-175 pounds, basically like all middleweights.

Noone sane suggests a Floyd or Pac fight, both are too small and never fought at MW.

Cotto is still the lineal MW champ. That he got there with a catchweight fight is a mockery in the first place, but not GGG's problem.

A MW wanting a fight with the lineal MW champion, how outrageous:rofl

All in all just a very poor thread.

You're moronic thread shows you're just a casual fan hater
who doesn't know what he's talking about. GGG came in
the low 170's against Rubio, and he only came in that heavy
because Rubio cheated on the scales. So, you're comment
about him coming in as a big light heavy has no basis.
I think I speak for all the other posters on here who do
pay attention to the sport when I say "would you please
    log off"

So fighting top 10 ranked Murray or continously calling out
the "lineal" champ Cotto, and previously decimating every
other top 10 middle isn't credible?
Don't you think you're maybe being an ignorant hater?
You must be an Al Sharpton and Obama supporter
    with that kind of logic.:tong
