FYI, It is not that, whoever beats berto gets a shot at Floyd.
Alydin was ranked num1 by WBC and Robert beat him to become Floyd's Mandatory. Floyd didn't care to fight Robert so Rob fought the num2 rated WW in berto and further secure his mandatory spot.

Not to mention that the WBC already threaten to strip Floyd for not fighting his mandatory. So now he could Vacant the WBC title or fight someone who just came off two good wins who HAPPENS to be his mandatory to keep his WW title?

Guerrero was taking helacious uppercuts.

Many of those rounds could have gone eitherway.

If it weren't for the knockdowns, it is likely Berto would have won.

Berto has always shown the same flaws. He is extremelly hittable.

If Floyd chooses Guerrero, it's pathetic.

Guerrero is by far the weakest link. Like another poster said, he's an overachiever.

Floyd has better defense than Berto, knows how to use his legs, and is bigger and stronger than Berto, especially with his undetectable steriods.

If Mayweather is PFP number 1, fight the best potential fighter in your own weightclass.

Robert beat Berto's ass from rounds 1-6, close rounds 7, and 8 with Berto taking the round 9, 10, 11. 12th Robert got. 116-110 is about as accurate as you can get.

As far as talking down as if Robert is a **** fighter is completely false. He is a six division champ and have always been a good consistent fighter so you do not know wtf you are talking about. As usual.

Guerrero's two fights at welterweight have made him a legit contender and I wouldn't complain too hard if he got a shot at Mayweather. I'd much prefer to see him pick up atleast one more quality win at 147 first. Say he beats someone like Malignaggi, Maidana, Lopez, etc than I'd like a Guerrero-Mayweather fight more.

If Mayweather's next fight is at 147 I'd prefer someone like Bradley or Alexander(if he beats Brook) over Guerrero. If Mayweather's next fight is at 154 than there's a lot of guys I'd prefer over a Guerrero match up.

Bradley's way better than the Ghost and a far better opponent for Mayweather. The Ghost beat B level Berto. Timmy has beaten the cream of the crop at 140 and has been the only person to have a close fight with Pac besides JMM in years and years. Timmy is far more proven and far better than Guererro. Mayweather vs Canelo is better than both.

 

Robert has not made one million dollar purse for any of his fights ,total waste of time and fans money ,will be the first time I wouldn't watch a Mayweather fight. Too easy for him.

 

Since Floyd will never fight Pac or Sexio, Canelo is the fight to make

Guerrero would be my fourth or fifth option
