A past prime slowed up GGG beat a prime roided up Canelo, the same Canelo that’s trampling everyone he fights, regardless of size and is a current p4p fighter, some think no1. He beat everyone at middle that was available, and the best he still beat past prime.

I don't give the media more credibility than I would a hardcore fan. In fact a lot of the times I give them less credibility.

I do pay attention to what actual boxers, trainers, and former boxers say.

I'm also very confident in my scoring abilities. I use the 10 point system in every fight.

    But agreed, both wonderful fights.

GGG in my username stands for Good Guy Greg, which was a very popular meme.

You're saying things that simply aren't true. GGG never beat Canelo, Canelo obviously was never on "roids", the Canelo GGG lost to was still pre-prime compared to the version of today. GGG was only slightly past prime.

Gee golly... let me try and take a shot at this brain twister.

Could it... possibly... maybe be... because Golovkin.... fought 4 times in 2013... and 3 times in 2014... while in his prime.... and now... he fought one time all last year... and didn't fight at all this year..... and is clearly past his best.

I know thats tough math but Idk, I just really have a hunch that that could be why...

I don't understand why you guys can't just like GGG and Canelo.

They're two excellent fighters, that had 2 great fights together.

Now they're in different weight divisions. GGG shouldn't have let the canelo fights define him, he could have still unified 160 if he really went for it, but I think now it's too late for him.

I think maybe some of them developed shame.

His fans overrated him to the moon and back. And when he didnt do what they were certain he would to Canelo, they eventually drifted away (after 12 months of "letting it out"). We lost a lot of posters and enthusiasm after Golovkins last couple years and Lomos big deuce last year. They had the wildest claims. They werent trolling, either. It hit them hard, is the long story short. Retrospect shows the wild claims became indefensible in time. People always like to think they are living through the extreme.

He beat the P4P best of this era twice, I mean you all love to wank over Canelo and lets be honest, Canelo has 1 loss and 1 draw to GGG at best.

You can pretend all your life bro.

While GGG was desperately trying to get these 147 and 154 lb fighters to move up to fight him, he had Mr. Ward willing and able.

How does that make you feel as a GGG fan?

Most people believe GGG won both fights.
I watched the 2nd fight many many times and I never once was close to scoring it for Canelo, a draw at best. I even have a thread where I watced the fight at 0.25 speed and counted every single punch and created a favorable punch scoring criteria for Canelo and he still landed around a 100 punches fewer than GGG

I used to be a huge fan of GGG but the last few years he's been off and acting as if his heart was no longer in boxing, I don't blame him.
Imagine working for something all your life and then you get it taken from you because the guy you're fighting is a PPV star.
