God you're so stupid. You do realise Canelo was a weight bully at 154 right? Started his pro career with Wilder esque cherrypicking for 40 fights as soon as he stepped up he had a very close fight with meh trout, got flustered and schooled by a cherrypick gone wrong 36 yo Mayweather.. Then deserved a clear 8-4 loss against the Cuban Lara. Fast forward more obvious cherrypicking of shot small Cotto, 140lber Khan he dragged up then he loses to GGG 8-4 twice (in anyone with any sense of objectivity). And don't forget the blatant drug use (hAir foLicle, MExiCan cOntAminAtiOn dumb naive excuses incoming) the short camps (Callum Smith) dehyradation clauses (Jacobs) and clear as day fixed fights (Yildrim and Kovalev). Say what you like about Golovkins resume.. I personally think it's good nothing special (stand outs are beating a roided ginger x2 (at 36), utter domination and nullified Lemieux, beat a 190lbs not drained Jacobs (at 34-5)), but Canelo's career and entire background is tainted to anyone who isn't fooled by the narrative their fed from Canelo and his dodgy team
''I don't know who Travis Tanner is, and why don't you introduce yourself, or I'm calling security.'' ''My name is Gennady Golovkin.'' ''You're Gennady Golovkin?'' ''You've heard of me?'' ''No.''
He gave canelo his two toughest fights. Sad to say that’s what he will be remembered for. Unofficially beating him the 1st.
Both extremely competitive, but only one close. GGG clearly won the first but the second fight had alot of close rounds.
