I am not sure he is # 1 PFP

He's up there but there are others such as Anderson Silva, BJ Penn,
Rashad, Rush .....and I would not leave Rampage out of the mix.

Okay, theres no way Rampage and Rashad are above Fedor in P4P lists  That's just straight up foolishness!
We'll see who's P4P best after the 31st of January.

How exactly is it gona prove anything? Unless BJ Penn absolutely annihilates GSP, than nothing will be decided as far as p4p. BJ Penn already lost to GSP in a convincing decision. A win for BJ will make it 1-1 but he'll still have those loses on his record. If GSP beats him the second time, BJ Penn won't lose his belt, and GSP will still have the Serra TKO.

It'll prove who's the better fighter, and in a P4P sense I think BJ and GSP would beat Fedor. :nod

And by no means was GSP's lay and pray split decision over a fat uninterested BJ 'convincing'!

I still dont understand how being an undisputed #1 HW in the world for almost 6... SIX years with 17-0(in a sport where an 0 is very easy to pick up) record over those last six years with pretty much all of the best HWs at given years.
I'm not even talking GOAT here, if he honestly keeps going at it the way he has been for last 6 years for few more years, he'll be reaching for Karelin's status imo.

Look I agree with almost everything you just wrote. Unless BJ ko's GSP into next year, Fedor is number #1 p4p. In the history of MMA.

But BJ didnt lose a convincing decision. No unbiased fan can say that. Fedor is #1. Be happy. No need to make things up.

I refuse to consider the fight against Koshsaka a loss. It was an illegal elbow, and the fight was stopped after 17 seconds, before Fedor got a chance to retaliate. The only reason that Koshsaka was given the W was because he is Japanese.

Also, in their second fight Fedor absolutely destroyed Koshsaka, and Koshsaka was allowed to fight for 2 rounds with eye damages that were a lot worse than than the one that cost Fedor the first fight.

Im the same. I dont bother counting that loss. As far as im concerned his 29-0. Thats an incredible achievement in MMA. Even if he looses his next fight i couldnt care less. As far as im concerned he`s the Muhammed Ali of MMA. The best ever.

I think it's almost universally recognized as being a lame loss and pretty much not counted.
Actually from what I remember, it's counted as a loss because it was tournament bracket and they needed a winne but Fedor had a bad cut.
